Reczko group was awarded 1st and 2nd places in the BioASQ 2025 international competition.
The Reczko group was awarded two 1st and five 2nd places in the BioASQ Synergy 2025 international competition. Within the competition, biomedical experts posed unanswered questions for biomedical & public health issues that should be answered by intelligent information systems. In four rounds, the experts assessed the answers and gave feedback to the systems together with updated questions.
The Reczko group excelled (two 1st place awards) in the categories "exact answers" and “ideal answers”, and 5 times scored 2nd in the categories “documents”, "snippets", “exact answers” and “ideal answers”.
The results of the challenge were announced at the BioASQ workshop held in Madrid on 9 & 10/9/2025.
