Panagiotis Chouvardas and Rania Semelidou, performing their PhD research at the Kollias and Skoulakis labs respectively, have been nominated by the Onassis Foundation and selected to attend the prestigious 68th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting through a rigorous, worldwide selection process.

The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings are organized once every year at Lindau, where Nobel Laureates convene to meet the next generation of outstanding scientists (undergraduates, PhD students and postdocs from all over the world), and promote exchange, networking and inspiration. This year’s 68th Meeting, dedicated to Physiology and medicine, will bring together 600 young scientists and a record 43 Nobel Laureates at Lake Constance. The selection process for this Meeting involved 130 academies, universities and foundations worldwide, that nominated candidates upon rigorous internal application procedures.

Congratulations to Panagiotis and Rania for their success and best wishes for many more distinctions in the future!
