BSRC “Alexander Fleming” is a major partner and active participant in the newly launched Research Infrastructure for personalized medicine "pMedGR"*, which forms the basis for the development of the newly inaugurated Center for New Biotechnologies & Precision Medicine. The Center aims at supporting research and innovation towards next generation healthcare applications and the development of “stratified medicines” through molecular profiling obtained via high-throughput ‘omics’ and imaging technologies.
Within the scope of pMedGR, Fleming’s contribution will be through its proven scientific excellence in biomedicine, its cutting edge technological expertise and its highly specialized human capital resource. In parallel and within the pMedGR infrastructure, Fleming will further advance and offer the state of the art in a new, nationally unique high-end proteomics facility.
