Fleming researchers uncovered a molecular interplay between survival and death pathways in synovial fibroblasts mediating modelled Rheumatoid Arthritis. Their results suggest that combinatorial targeting of the IKK2/RIPK3 axis in chronic polyarthritis will be advantageous over targeting either of these pathways alone.
