INFRAFRONTIER aims at providing access to mouse models, data, and cutting-edge analytical and diagnostic platforms for systemic analysis of genotype-phenotype interactions to dissect the functional role of the genome in health and disease.

This is the first biomedical ESFRI Infrastructure that Greece becomes a full Member to, underscoring the level of excellence and state-of-the-art expertise that has been developed in this area. FLEMING is also coordinating the national node of INFRAFRONTIER, Infrafrontier-GR: The Greek Research Infrastructure for phenotyping and archiving of model mammalian genomes, which is currently in implementation phase (2012-2015, 3.9 M€, NSRF 2007-2013/ERDF), and a key partner of INFRAFRONTIER since its inception and preparatory phase.
