A position for a post-doctoral scientist is immediately available in the lab of Dr. George Kollias at BSRC Fleming. The project will build on the lab's expertise in dissecting the molecular and cellular mechanisms that underlie immunological disease initiation, progression and chronicity and will focus on Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) pathogenesis in animal models.

Τhe candidate should have a PhD in Biology/Immunology or related fields, and proven expertise in the development and characterisation of animal models of disease and immunological phenotyping including bioimaging. Experience with IBD models is desirable. Candidates must be highly motivated and able to work independently. At least one high impact, first-author publication is required.
