Position ArchiveOne pre-doctoral position for highly motivated young scientists is available in the group of Dr Iannis Talianidis. The position is funded by the Marie Curie Initial Training Network “BOLD”. The program focuses on studies of gene networks regulating liver development and metabolic pathways. The project, among others, will involve bioinformatics analysis of high-throughput ChIP-seq and RNA-seq data.
Interest in Computational Biology and MSc degree is desirable.
The position is available for a period of 3 years with the following restrictions:
- Candidates should be nationals of any country other than Greece.
- Candidates must have less than 4 years (full time equivalent) research experience after graduation.
- Greek nationals may apply only if they hold dual citizenship and can provide evidence that they have resided and carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc) outside Greece for at least 5 years immediately prior to the appointment.
