Postdoctoral Research at the Institute of Cellular and Developmental Biology (01-10-2010)

The recently established Institute of Cellular and Developmental Biology is seeking highly motivated, accomplished candidates to submit proposals jointly with the Principal Investigators under the Open Call for GSRT Call for “Support of Postdoctoral researchers”. recently launched by the GSRT.

"Mapping of the non-coding genome in Drosophila by insertional mutagenesis".
Desired expertise: Molecular Biology, Drosophila Genetics and Bioinformatics a plus

“Molecular Neurobiology of aberrant Ras/Raf signaling-dependent learning and memory disorders”.
“Molecular Neurobiology of attention deficits and habituation”
Desired expertise: Neurobiology, Molecular Biology, Drosophila Genetics a plus.

Candidates can be of any nationality, must be holders of a PhD for no longer than 7years at the time of application and must have completed their military service, where applicable. Each candidate can only participate in one application under this Call. Candidates should email a specific cover letter (maximum 1 page long) to the PI of their interest, outlining their areas of expertise together with a detailed curriculum vitae, by October 20, 2010 at the very latest to allow sufficient time for preparation of the proposal.
