Position ArchiveA position for a highly motivated post-doctoral scientist is available at the lab of Dr. George Kollias at BSRC Fleming in the context of the GSRT-funded SYNERGASIA project «ΤheRAlead: Innovative therapeutics for arthritis». The project aims to bridge the gap between target identification and pre-clinical validation, exploiting a “hit to lead” pipeline, by integrating state-of-the-art tools and expertise of academic and industrial partners to address the development of novel therapeutics for arthritis in an interdisciplinary approach.
Τhe successful candidate should have a PhD in Biology or related fields, and proven expertise in the development and optimization of cellular assays. Experience with cellular biology approaches will be considered an asset. Candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills, in Greek and English, as well as the ability to interact closely and productively with a variety of researchers from different disciplines (i.e. chemists, bioinformaticians).
