Animal House facility

Overview

The animal house unit of B.S.R.C. "Alexander Fleming" provides husbandry of animals and services to the biomedical research community since early 2001. The present facility has a capacity to house more than 15000 mice and comprises breeding colonies, stock and experimental mice including many transgenic and knockout mouse lines. Our animal house unit provides its services to the various research groups of the B.S.R.C. "Al.Fleming" as well as to external contractors in Europe and U.S.A. (pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, leading hospitals, and academic institutions).
