Expression Profiling Unit

The B.S.R.C. Al. Fleming’s Expression Profiling Unit provides researchers with support in genome based research. Unit services are offered not only to academic and research centers, but the private sector as well, in the context of academic collaborations, participation in research networks and/or contracted services.

The Unit is equipped with the most advanced technology on microarray experimentation, including the use of an Affymetrix Scanner for high-throughput microarray experiments as well as all the equipment necessary for the generation of good quality results. A cDNA confocal scanner is also available for imaging and data analysis and a Luminex system for multiplex cytokine experiments. A complete and thorough data analysis is also conducted in order to generate and support customers with ready to publish results.

Although it is a newly established Unit its personnel has extensive experience on microarray technology as well as RNA and DNA handling.
