Research Activities
We are investigating Wnt-dependent transcriptional regulation in the
intestine and liver and its contribution to normal homeostasis and
carcinogenesis. By using high-throughput techniques, such as ChIP- and
RNA-seq and proteomic approaches, we are interested in
1) identifying and characterizing novel protein modulators of
TCF4/β-catenin, the transcription complex at the endpoint of the pathway
2) identifying noncoding RNA targets of the Wnt-pathway and exploring
their contribution in Wnt-dependent transcriptional responses
3) investigating the functional interplay between the Wnt-pathway and
other intestine- and liver-enriched transcription factors in the
regulation of tissue-specific transcriptional responses.
