Driving directions
The Institute is located in Vari, about 15 km south of Athens. Here are the directions in order to get to the institute by car. You can use the map below to help you reach us.

Point A: Intersection Paraliaki with
Vouliagmenis.
Point B: BSRC "Alexander Fleming"
From the Airport (El. Venizelos) via Varis-Koropiou
- Exiting from the Airport, after about 2 km the road splits; to the right it goes towards "Attiki odos", and to the left it goes to the "Varis-Koropiou" highway. You should go left.
- After about 15 km on the "Varis-Koropiou" highway, the road ends onto "Alkyonidon" avenue. At the traffic light take a left onto "Alkyonidon" avenue.
- After about 2 km and 3 traffic lights, you turn left onto "Dimitras" street.
- Follow "Dimitras" street until it ends onto "Al. Panagouli" street. Make a left onto "Al. Panagouli" street.
- Follow "Al. Panagouli" street to the top of the hill. After the top of the hill you stay left on the road-split (towards Vari).
- After 400 meters, the Al. Fleming institute's entrance is on your left.
From Athens via Vouliagmenis ave.
- You take "Vouliagmenis" street towards Vouliagmeni. At the end of "Vouliagmenis" street you meet "Athinas" highway.
- After about 2 km and 4 traffic lights, you turn left onto "Dimitras" street.
- Follow "Dimitras" street until it ends onto "Al. Panagouli" street. Make a left onto "Al. Panagouli" street.
- Follow "Al. Panagouli" street to the top of the hill. After the top of the hill you stay left on the road-split (towards Vari).
- After 400 meters, the Al. Fleming institute's entrance is on your left.
From Pireas via Poseidonos ave.
- You start going towards Glifada following "Poseidonos" street (known as "Paraliaki" street).
- After you pass the city of Voula, you see on your left hand-side the intersection with "Vouliagmenis" street. Immediately after you pass the intersection with the road to the airport "Varis-Koropiou" highway, keep going strate
- After about 2 km and 4 traffic lights, you turn left onto "Dimitras" street.
- Follow "Dimitras" street until it ends onto "Al. Panagouli" street. Make a left onto "Al. Panagouli" street.
- Follow "Al. Panagouli" street to the top of the hill. After the top of the hill you stay left on the road-split (toward Vari).
- After 400 meters, the Al. Fleming institute's entrance is on your left.
