School Visits

In order to increase public awareness and publicize its research results, BSRC “Al. Fleming” provides a tour of its premises to High School students from the area of Attiki. The students should preferably have an interest in Life Sciences and should be accompanied by a teacher.

A typical school visit accommodates 15-20 students, has three hours duration and includes, among others, a visit to the Alexander Fleming Museum, short presentations and/or videos describing issues of modern Biological Research and demonstration of simple laboratory techniques. School visits take place during the academic year, twice a month.

For an appointment contact Dr. Theodora Agalioti (agalioti@fleming.gr, tel: 210-9656310ext. 175) and/or Mrs. Nota Kornarou (kornarou@fleming.gr, tel. 210-9656310).
